About Philip Crump--Mediator and Facilitator

My clients know me for my skill, integrity, empathy and calm professionalism. Since 1992, I have helped many people in conflict find effective and peaceful ways to reach effective mutual decisions and resolution of their conflicts. Through my own varied life experience, I understand diverse perspectives and issues; these are reflected in the wide range of subject areas in which I successfully mediate.

I can help you be your best, even in trying times!

A New Mexico resident since 1969 and a Santa Fe resident since 1989, my work history includes Peace Corps (India), extensive construction experience and public school teaching. My mediation career embraces many areas of conflict resolution study and practice, including:

• divorce, child custody and family issues
• workplace conflict (with individuals and groups)
• EEOC and ADA complaints
• special education (due process complaints and IEPs)
• construction and business conflicts
• organizational issues
• facilitation of public and private meetings

In addition to the practice areas indicated in this website, I encourage you to visit my Professional Resume , which lists the diversity of my professional training; I believe it is important for me continually to hone my skills and perspectives through ongoing professional development. This is one of the ways in which I provide the highest level of competence to my clients.

My promise: Tell me your goals for resolution and I will help you get there.

As a sole general practitioner, I am available to discuss application of a compassionate process of communication and resolution to many arenas of disagreement. As a matter of course, I provide up to a half-hour of free consultation, offering people an opportunity to get to know me and my approach and decide whether to proceed with my services.

These Standards outline the expectations for professional mediators who aspire to provide their clients the highest level of service with integrity and competence.
